Late 1800's Double Eagle Saloon- Custom Hand-Carved & Sculpted Cave Walls, Custom Built Bar & Furniture
This was a fun project and took about 11 months to complete. The customer wanted a themed construction project reminding him of the late 1800’s gold mining era and wanted to call it the “Double Eagle Saloon”. After purchasing $80k in reclaimed Louisiana wood, I started building the whole floor from the ground up. Everything from the plank flooring, custom-built curved bar and furniture and cabinets, everything was built utilizing the reclaimed authentic wood. To compliment the gold mining era, I hand sculpted 360-degree cave walls with an ore cart track and matching details signifying the era & look. The bunk beds & cabinetry were all built form the Louisiana wood. This whole project makes you feel as if you are in a Disney or movie setting.
